Agnieszka Markowska has worked as a policy advisor at Milieu Ltd (a consultancy based in Brussels) since September 2013. She holds a PhD degree from the Economics Department of the Warsaw University and a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Indiana University, USA. Ms. Markowska has over 15-years’ experience in environmental policy evaluation and cost-benefit analysis.
Currently she is involved in a project on integration of environmental concerns in the Cohesion Policy for the European Commission, DG Environment. In 2016 she worked in a project on ex-post evaluation of the Cohesion Policy in the period 2007-2013 in the area of environment for DG Regional and Urban Policy. Over the recent years she has contributed to numerous reports focusing on various aspects of environmental and transport policy of the EU.
